These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the redwoodconcreteco.com website and the services provided by BPC Redwood Concrete ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
By accessing or using this website, submitting a contact or estimate form, or hiring us to perform services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are submitting a request on behalf of a business, organization, or property owner, you represent that you have the authority to bind that party to these Terms.
BPC Redwood Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Redwood City, CA. We provide residential and commercial concrete services including, but not limited to, driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, flatwork, retaining walls, and decorative concrete finishes across the greater Peninsula area.
The information on our website is provided for general reference only. Service availability, scope, and pricing are determined on a project-by-project basis following an on-site assessment. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of availability.
All estimates provided by BPC Redwood Concrete are based on the information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties have signed a written agreement covering the scope of work, price, and schedule.
Unforeseen site conditions discovered during work - such as buried debris, unstable soil, unmarked utilities, or hidden structural issues - may require adjustments to the original scope or price. We will notify you before proceeding with any changes that affect cost.
Project start dates are scheduled based on permit timelines, material availability, and current workload. We will provide you with a projected start date and notify you of any material changes. Weather conditions, permit delays, or other circumstances outside our control may affect scheduling.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of the project at the time of cancellation - specifically, for costs already incurred for permits, materials ordered, or mobilization. Any applicable cancellation terms will be specified in your written service agreement.
Payment terms are outlined in the written service agreement for each project. A deposit is typically required before work begins to cover permit fees and material procurement. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments not received by the due date set forth in the agreement may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue all available remedies, including filing a mechanics lien on the property in accordance with California law.
Where a building permit is required by the applicable city or county for the scope of work, we will apply for and manage that permit on your behalf as part of the project. Permit fees will be included in the project estimate.
You are responsible for disclosing any applicable HOA restrictions, deed restrictions, or other property-specific requirements that may affect the design or scope of work before the project begins. We are not responsible for work that must be modified or removed due to undisclosed restrictions.
Any warranty on workmanship will be set forth in the written service agreement. No warranty is implied beyond what is expressly stated in writing.
Concrete is a natural material subject to cracking, surface variation, and color inconsistency. Hairline surface cracks that develop during the curing process are a normal characteristic of concrete and are not a defect unless they affect the structural integrity of the work. We do not warrant against hairline cracking, color variation, efflorescence, or minor surface imperfections that are inherent to the material.
The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BPC Redwood Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability - whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concern before initiating formal proceedings. Most issues can be resolved quickly with a direct conversation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before resorting to litigation. Any unresolved dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in San Mateo County, California, conducted under the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration provider. Each party bears its own costs of arbitration unless the arbitrator awards otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration under Section 9 shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
